Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how mySnack (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use mySnack (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image.
  • Connected-platform tokens. When you connect YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok, we store the OAuth access/refresh tokens and account label needed to publish on your behalf. Tokens are stored encrypted.
  • Content you create. The scripts, prompts, avatars, appearances, audio, and videos you generate or upload, along with their settings.
  • Usage & log data. Basic technical data needed to operate the Service (e.g. job status, errors, timestamps).

2. How we use information

  • to provide, operate, and improve the Service;
  • to generate avatars, appearances, audio, and videos you request;
  • to publish your videos to the platforms you explicitly connect; and
  • to secure the Service and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers

We share data with the following processors only as needed to run the Service: Google (authentication), fal.ai and ElevenLabs (AI image/video/voice generation), Cloudflare R2 (media storage), and our database and hosting providers. We do not sell your personal information.

4. YouTube

mySnack uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to your YouTube channel. By connecting YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. mySnack’s use of information received from YouTube API Services adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and to the Google Privacy Policy.

We request only the youtube.upload scope and use it solely to publish videos you create, to your channel, at your request. We do notuse YouTube or Google user data for advertising, sell or transfer it to third parties, or use it to train AI models, and no humans read your Google user data except where you explicitly consent, where required for security (e.g. investigating abuse), or where required by law. You can revoke mySnack’s access to your Google data at any time via your Google security settings, and you may request deletion of any data we hold about you (see §7).

5. Instagram & Meta

When you connect Instagram, mySnack uses the Instagram API (with Instagram Login) to publish Reels to your Instagram professional (Business or Creator) account. We request only two permissions:

  • instagram_business_basic — to read your account ID and username, so we can label the connection and post to the correct account; and
  • instagram_content_publish — to publish Reels you create to your account.

We access only what is needed to publish content you create — we do not read your existing media, comments, direct messages, followers, or insights, and we do not use Meta platform data for advertising or to train AI models, nor do we sell or transfer it. Our use of Meta platform data is governed by the Instagram Privacy Policy and the Meta Platform Terms. You can disconnect Instagram at any time from Settings, which deletes the stored token, and you may request deletion of your data (see §7).

6. TikTok

When you connect TikTok, we use the TikTok Content Posting API to publish or send videos to your account. Our use of TikTok data is governed by the TikTok Privacy Policy. We only request the video.publish scope and use it solely to publish videos you create.

7. Data retention & deletion

We retain your content and connection tokens for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect any platform from Settings at any time, which immediately deletes the stored OAuth tokens for that platform, and you can delete avatars, appearances, and videos individually whenever you like.

Data deletion.To delete your account and all associated data — including any data obtained from Google/YouTube or Meta/Instagram — email support@mysnack.aifrom your account email address, and we will permanently delete it within 30 days. Disconnecting a platform also stops mySnack from accessing that platform’s data going forward; you can additionally revoke access from your Google security settings or your Meta account settings.

8. Security

Connection tokens are encrypted at rest, media is served via signed URLs, and access is scoped to your workspace. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
